Teaching 6-8 year olds I was curious to see if anybody knew what I had been teaching Abigail today in school. (I'm Always curious about these things)

Does anybody here know what a primate is?

Um is it a book?

No, but here's a hint: it's a type of animal.

Oh. Ummmm.... No. But I do know what heely's are and I want some.

Octo=8

Learning about "octo" today in school. My mom did this for the kids once and I found it to be appropriate for lunch today. The kids love it! (and yes those are organic hot dogs and while wheat pasta)

Second to last test before second grade

This is a portion of Abigail's ninth book out of ten. She is nearly in second grade and grasping it all! I was especially proud of this page. This is tough stuff! I'm very proud.
