So I follow Sarah Adair (yes the one from dance eMotions) and yesterday she attempted tracking her day with pictures on the hour. Today, I will attempt this. Since, after all, I am a follower.

Game Night

Tonight we played pictionary.  I'm so proud of my kids.  They practiced patience and we had a really good time.  AND, Micah actually drew something this time!  Usually all he can draw is a sun.  And he tries to draw other things but they're crazy.  You really can't make any of it out.  BUT tonight, he drew his very first stick man.  He said it was a crazy person. haha.  Look at it!!

Then there's perfectionist Abigail.  Her drawings are not missing any details.  Here are her drawings:

Then Jude went.  Jude.  hmmm... well.  I think he may not have gotten the artistic abilities that the others have.  This is his "sword".  

......................?  a sword.  somewhere in there.  Boy I love him!

To finish it off, Micah drew another picture.  This was precious.  It's Mommy playing a guitar in a tornado storm.  I love it.

Clean House

So Adam has been gone for over a week now.  I miss him like crazy.  I hate when he's gone just at work for a day, so this is terrible.  BUT the positive is that I am getting my house clean.  I like to over-achieve when he's away so he'll be really impressed when he gets back.  My master bedroom and bathroom are spotless.  My living room is so pretty.  My kitchen is shiny.  Today and tomorrow I'm working on the entryway, dining room, and school room.  All my laundry is totally caught up.  Not just clean, but PUT AWAY!!!!  This is major for me.

I'm going off a few helpful tips from a very helpful website.  FLYlady is a little cheesy, but super helpful.  Check it out if you want help organizing your household chores.  I am not following it exactly, but following the general idea.  Tips like: a load a day keeps the chaos away (with laundry), run the dishwasher before bed, unload in the morning, and focus on one area (zone) at a time. So far, it's really making a difference!

I'm so excited to finally feel like my house isn't overwhelming me!!!  yea!
